3 inch (76mm) ULTIMATE Lift Kit for 2003-2011 Honda Element
This is the ultimate Honda Element lift kit. Designed to prevent axle or suspension binding issues, premature bushing wear, while providing stock ride quality. This no-compromises kit includes: set of 4 spacers (2 front and 2 rear), adjustable control arms for the rear, offset camber adjustment bolts for the front, full set of subframe spacers and extended bolts. This kit is designed to result in a level lift. Detailed illustrated installation instructions are included. Please see other listings for CR-V kits. All parts are powder coated for a durable, attractive finish and use grade 10.9 hardware. Kit comes with free stickers! Actual spacer height is 2.5 inches Front and 1.5 inches Rear, 3 inch lift is based on before and after measurements taken at the fenders. Results may vary depending on condition of existing suspension. For off road use only!
Please see our other listings for more lift kits and parts. Q: Why are the front spacers taller than the rear spacers? A: The suspension geometry is different in front than in rear. In order to get an equal amount of lift front and back, different size spacers have to be used.
Q: Will I need an alignment after installing this kit? A: Yes, just as if you lowered your car, lifting changes the wheel alignment. It is also recommended to install camber correction kits for lifts greater than 1. Q: What are the extra bolts for? A: The 2 cam bolts included in this kit are used to adjust the camber on the front suspension, which is necessary after installing a lift kit.
Q: Will lifting my car affect the axles? It depends on the amount of lift and the type of axles you have in your vehicle. Parts store rebuilt axles are more prone to having issues. In general, installing lift spacers greater than 1.75" will require a subframe drop or "body lift to maintain proper axle angle. Q: Do I need to replace my suspension bushings when installing a lift kit?
A: It depends on the condition of your existing bushings. We always recommend inspecting your factory bushings and replacing them with urethane bushings such as Energy Suspension if needed. The added benefit of installing urethane bushings is that it allows the suspension to move more freely without binding up.
A: In most cases, yes. By lifting the suspension you are effectively raising the roll center of the car, which can cause additional body roll.
